Trainspotting
Rating: R (for graphic heroin use and resulting depravity, strong language, sex, nudity and violence)
Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner & Jonny Lee Miller - 1 hour & 33 minutes

July is Cult Movie Month at the Bad Axe Theatre. This Saturday evening, July 22nd at 12 midnight, we will be having a free screening of Danny Boyle's Trainspotting, starring Ewan McGregor. The doors will open at 11:30pm, and admission will be absolutely free.

Danny Boyle's explosive film tracks the misadventures of young men in Edinburgh trying to find their way out of joblessness, aimless relationships and drug addiction. Some are successful, while others hopelessly are not. Based on Irvine Walsh's novel, Trainspotting melds grit with poetry, resulting in a film of harsh truths and stunning grace.
